What are Bison Bucks?

Bison Bucks is a convenient debit account right on your student card. You, family and friends can make a deposit into your Bison Bucks account and you can swipe your student ID card anywhere on campus at Lipscomb Dining locations and at select local restaurants.

Where is my Bison Bucks account? Do I need a separate card?

Bison Bucks is an account located on your Lipscomb ID card, which means no more digging into your spending money, late night stops at the ATM or charging up credit cards.

What is the difference between Bison Bucks and Dining Dollars?

Bison Bucks can be used ANYWHERE! At on campus dining locations and select off-campus locations. Bison Bucks roll over every year and Dining Dollars end at the end of the academic year. Dining Dollars are funds only included with a meal plan and can only be used at Lipscomb Dining locations for ready-to-eat foods only. Dining dollars cannot be used to purchase bulk items (no more than 2 in one purchase) or convenience items.

How Do I Get Bison Bucks Account?

You’ve already got it. The Bison Bucks system is BUILT RIGHT INTO your existing Lipscomb ID Card. It’s there, and ready to roll. All you have to do is make a deposit (or get Mom and Dad to); then enjoy total freedom without spending your cash or charging up credit cards. How Do Bison Bucks Work?

Will I Lose Unused Bison Bucks?

You’ve heard of rollover minutes? Your unused Bison Bucks balance will roll over from semester to semester and year to year as long as you are an active member of the Lipscomb community.

How do I add money to my Bison Bucks account?

Two ways:

  1. Visit  https://get.cbord.com/lipscomb, register and add money today
  2. Send this link to your family and friends> https://get.cbord.com/lipscomb. Make sure they have your L Number, Last Name and Date of birth and they can add funds right to you ID. 

Where can Bison Bucks be used off campus?

What do I do if I lose my Student Card?

The first thing you need to do is call Public Safety at (615) 966-7600. Second, call Dining Services at (615) 966-1192 (leave a message if it is after hours). Please leave your name and ID number in a slow, clear voice. We can check to see if your Lipscomb ID Card has been turned in to us and if not, we will change your issue number so no one else will be able to use your card. This is especially important if you have Printing/Copying Dollars, Bison Bucks, Meal Plans, and/or Dining Dollars. To replace your card, visit Public Safety/ Security ; there is a replacement fee.
